Quotes

”...Waldorf education remains to become better known to Americans. Other independent educational movements, much less thoroughgoing in their attempts to integrate at every level of education art, science, and an appreciation of the fully human, have curiously been given much more attention. At a time of searching and reappraisal in American education, the Waldorf Movement with its unique understanding of the education of the child and its years of teaching practice and institutional experience deserves the informed consideration of those genuinely concerned with education and the development of human wholeness.”

Events Calendar

9th-12th Grade Parent Evenings

There are 3-4 scheduled Parent Evenings during the course of the school year to communicate with parents what is happening in their child’s class. Class and special subject teachers will review the curriculum in light of child development, talk about classroom activities and the social life of the class. There is time for parents to share and discuss their questions with the teacher and learn how they can most effectively support the work that goes on in the classroom. Important upcoming events and all-school information are often announced at Parent Evenings. Parent Evenings also provide parents with an opportunity to get to know one another. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend these highly informative meetings.
