Eligibility and Process

The Chicago Waldorf School is offering a One School Year Tuition Adjustment program in response to the COVID economy. CWS COVID Tuition Adjustment funding distribution will be on a first come, first serve basis. The purpose is to provide temporary support. To be eligible you must provide proof that the COVID shut down directly reduced your income, and that your income will return to pre-COVID levels by June 30, 2021. You can receive CWS standard Tuition Adjustment and/or CWS COVID Tuition Adjustment.

To be eligible for CWS COVID Tuition Adjustment, you must:

1.Be accepted for the 2020-21 school year.

2.Submit all TA application forms completely and accurately by June 28th, 2020 at 3:00pm CST:

a.Standard, non-COVID, Tuition Adjustment application located on our website.

b.2020-21 COVID Tuition Adjustment Letter of Special Circumstances.

c.Provide most recent pay stubs, or proof of income from March 2020 to present

3.Describe why you expect your income will return to a pre-COVID level by June 30, 2021, and that you can maintain 2021-22 tuition payments without support from CWS COVID Tuition Adjustment.

  • The Tuition Adjustment funds will be distributed on a first come first served basis to those families with completed and accurate applications and demonstrated financial need as determined by Smart Aid
