Ready to apply for your Family Individualized Tuition?

Chicago Waldorf School uses the services of a third party to evaluate each family’s financial picture. Blackbaud Financial Aid Management provides a need-based financial aid analysis service which guides Family Individualized Tuition determinations.

First time applicants: To log-in, visit the Blackbaud Financial Aid website, click on the “New Parent Registration” button, type in the school ID (which is 11718) and create your log-in ID name and password. Once your application is initiated, you may save it "in-process" and revisit it any time by returning to the log-in window via the Blackbaud Financial Aid Management link above. Just remember your parent log-in ID name and password to reenter your online application form. Once the application is complete you must click the final submission button to officially enter your application. There is a $35 fee for the application.

Required documents for all guardians receiving taxable income:

  • Federal 1040s (all pages) for most current tax year

  • W2s for the most current tax year

  • Copies of most recent pay stubs

Current Families: Applications Due January 15, 2024
New Families: Apply at the same time you apply for admission

deposit at time of contract acceptance

A non-refundable deposit of $500 per student is due at the time of contract submission and will be applied to the balance due for the upcoming year. For re-enrollment contracts the $500 non-refundable deposit is typically due in February at the time of contract renewal.

tuition payment schedule

Chicago Waldorf School uses auto-debit via Blackbaud Tuition Management to assist families in managing their selected tuition payment plan of one-month (July), quarterly (July/October/January/April) or monthly (July through June.)  Tuition payments are due the last business day of the month. Blackbaud processes auto-debits one business day before the actual due date (weekends and holidays are not counted). All balances are expected to fully paid by June.
