Reuse & Recycling Pop-Up 2026

Reduce Waste Chicago is kicking off the new year with its first Reuse & Recycling Pop-Up of 2026! This community event will be held at the Chicago Waldorf School.

Several partner organizations from around the city will be joining the effort, so please check back for updates on participating groups. To ensure a smooth visit, we recommend reviewing the Updated List of Accepted Items before leaving home to see exactly what is being collected.

Volunteer and Make a Difference Help Reduce Waste Chicago divert materials from the landfill by joining the volunteer team. Volunteers will spend a shift accepting, sorting, or packing items while connecting with others dedicated to sustainability. It is a rewarding way to spend a morning knowing you have made a tangible impact on our environment.
