6pm | Nora’s Sun and Moon Park

Oktoberfest is one of our favorite CWS traditions and a celebration of the community that makes our school so special. Join us under the lights in Nora’s Sun and Moon Park for an evening of live music, delicious food, and festive fun.

Yes, you read that right…new this year: live music from Prost! Band!

This evening is the first chance of the school year to gather with friends, faculty, alumni, and fellow parents for a relaxed fall night together. Whether you come for the music, the food, the conversation, or simply the joy of being in community, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. No drinking is required to have a wonderful evening. Oktoberfest is first and foremost a celebration of CWS and the people who make it special.

The CWS Grill will be serving up bratwursts, smoked meats (while they last!), and other German-inspired fare, alongside homemade pretzels, homemade German potato salad, and homemade sweet treats. For those who wish to partake, there will also be brews from our talented community homebrewers.

General admission is $45 in advance or $55 at the door. Your ticket includes entry, live music, dinner, and a memorable evening under the stars.

consider joining the fun as an Oktoberfest Supporter ($80), Leader ($160), or Champion ($260).

Every higher-level ticket helps keep this beloved celebration accessible for all, with proceeds going straight to the CWS Community Fund. Your generosity keeps the taps flowing, the music playing, and the entire community dancing under the stars.

Want to go above and beyond? There's also an option to make a direct donation. Every dollar makes a difference and helps ensure Oktoberfest can be enjoyed by all for years to come.

Choose your ticket level and get ready to toast with us in true Oktoberfest style.

Danke for your support and see you at the fest!

All donations are final. Entry requires proof of age—no exceptions, no schnitzel.

oktoberfest workshops to get in the mood!

free pretzel-making workshop

Sunday, September 27, from 3:00–6:00 pM

Help us prepare for Oktoberfest by making Bavarian-style pretzels! Never made them before? That’s okay! We’ll show you how. It’s a fun way to come together in the new year, meet new folks, and help bring a treasured event to life.

Note that this is an adults-only workshop.

oktoberfest glasses

This year, we’re raising a glass to sustainability! Our Oktoberfest glasses are second-hand, giving them a second life while helping us reduce waste and make this year’s celebration a little more eco-friendly.

Glasses will be given to the first 100 attendees, so be sure to arrive on time!

oktoberfest thrives on community

Do you have traditional German food that you want to share with the community? Do you have a music skill, maybe German-inspired, that you’d like to share? We want our Oktoberfest to continue to grow. If you’ve got something you’d like to offer, contact Dana Hegedorn.
